i asked alchuck cuz he got the same sound card setup i got

i got delta 66 and sblive anyway when i run multiple audio files wit sonic foundry graphic dynamics and or cakewalk FX reverb after a couple of loops of the track it drops out why?
it is the trial version though

what drops out?

the sonic foundry demo version drops out? just for 1 second or permanently? most demo plug-ins drop out for 1 second to make sure you purchase the software.

thats could be it but it doesn't drop out on cake 9.....but i found out how to circumvent the problem by just applying the effects to the track

If the problem goes away when you "apply" the FX it sounds like you're overtaxing your system. Realtime FX take more processing power than applied FX.

You didn't specify what CPU and memory you have, which would help in assessing the problem.

Suggest you try increasing your latency settings. Go to Options -> Audio and try pushing the buffer slider futher to the right, or increasng the number of buffers and see if that helps. There are also latency settings in the Delta Control Panel as well. You could also try increasing these. Either way, you will probably need to reprofile you sound card after making these changes.

128 mb of memory is a little lite, but should be ok for a few tracks. Realtime FX tax the system, some quite a bit. Depends on the particular effect. Reverb is among the worst.

Did you try increasing the latency settings? Did it help?

yea it helped...but reverb was no problem it was when i used the sound forge plugs....i installed wdm drivers wit my delta 66 i think thats gonna rid the problem
