Awesome MXR EQ Pedal Mod From ToneJamFX!

Finally (almost 45 days) got my MXR 10-band EQ pedal back with the mod from ToneJamFX.

WOW! Great Great Mod! Awesome improvement in the sound. I'm really glad I got it done before he suspended his work.

If you are fortunate enough to catch him at a time when he is doing mods, the MXR Sniper EQ mod is definitely worth the money. He is backlogged, so expect a wait, but it is a great mod if you can get it! I will definitely be keeping this pedal now for a long time!

I've got a 10 band MXR--what's the mod do for it? Sorry if it's common knowledge and it sounds like I've been under a rock.

It is not common knowledge, but there are people who report having great luck with the so called "Sniper" mod.

He claims he is taking a holiday from modding pedals. But apparently he ahs made that claim before, and then came back to it. I caught him at a time when he was fresh and coming back to it, so I got mine done asap. I dont know if he is still willing to do them or not, but his web page is still there. Cant hurt to ask.

The pedal is nice as is, but quite noisy at high gain. This mod removes most of the noise. Now I can crank it a lot more without the hiss.
