Hey gang,
I was reading the manual last night (for about the millionth time) and I came across a section that said "copy-prohibit data will be automatically included in the created CD." Does that mean that once I burn a CD of my music, I won't be able to copy it on a computer? That doesn't seem right, does it? There must be a way to shut this function off, but how? Does anyone know how to turn off the copy-prohibit data? Thanks for any help,
Fab

Yo Fabulous Claxton:]

Yes, you can shut off the "protect" when you want to shut it off.

I use the 2816 but I'm sure the procedure is similar, if not the same.

When you are setting up to burn a CD and you choose your song to burn, down at the bottom of the screen you will see a box that says, "protect." I think it defaults to "protect." Move the cursor on the box and push enter and it should cancel/change protect.

Then, you can copy as many as you want.

I'm thinking the whole set up on the AW16 is very similar to the 2816.

Merry Christmas
