aw 4416 and......

i record on an aw4416 and i'm tryin to impliment a computer into the equation. probably just to edit,but i'm sure it'll grow from there. any recomendations on what software i should start lookin at. are there any other aw4416 users here doin this that could lace my sneakers

Can't you edit on the yamaha?

A computer for 'mastering' and burning might be useful though.

you can edit on the yamaha certain procedures are just way to time consuming and i talked to someone who uses sound forge with it that said it cut the time in more than half
