hello i am new to this forum here , i am very blank about how to mix and produce your own cd at your homestudio,
my goal is to make my own album at my aw 16 g yamaha mixer, since i can do all the mastering and mixing work on it. some good advice about use of laptop and homestudio too will be nice to get help with. i struggle to get my audiokontrol 1 soundcard to work on my lap top dell presicion m60 with xp pro.
asio driver i have to have? cpu ?? control?
ok i have made two album with my korg karma keyboard, i want to mix them into aw 16 g yamaha, and build a good album in this gig. i can burn cd.s with aw 16 g. its a complete homestudio

i am good at wave files and mp3 converting. i also use a zoom q 3 to do recording with.
