Av-jefe Drum Mics?

Any one heard of them? They got a pretty cheap set: 2 condensor overheads, 4 tom mics, and a kick mic. Price for thqt is about what 4 sm57's would cost me... But I'm pretty shure that the SM57s would sound better...

Damn, it's gonna take ages for me to decide which drum mics I'm gonna buy...

here's what i'd do :

1 57 for the snare

2 CAD M39's for overheads (work great!)

1 D112 for the kick

then when you get more money you can start close mic'ing the toms and whatnot. but keeping it simple is usually the best approach, and i've had the best luck with these mics.
