aux pre/post

Either I'm having some brain failure or something has changed in my set up... When I try to figure it out I get confused. Any help wd be appreciated:

I route vocals to aux 1&2, 100 % wet, to add verb & delay. The parameter boxes for both the verb & delay I set to 100 % wet also (Cakewalk GTP 2). At the aux ret I can adjust the amount of processed signal to blend in. But - in older songs I have had the "pre" setting all along in the aux ret & cd still adjust the volume of the track bk in the track fader. Now it has no effect unless I select the post button.
Has something gotten corrupted? Thanks!!!
 
If your send is setup as pre-fader, then the channel fader for the source vocals should have no effect on the signal level going to Aux 1 & 2. If you're wanting the source channel fader to effect the level going into Aux 1 & 2, you need to set it up as post-fader.

Nothing is corrupt, everything is as it should be. :)
