hello-
I just tried the aux-bus-fx routine for putting 4 tracks of guitar through a bus, using one effect. I think I did it but,
It didn't make my CPU % workload go down ? !.
I've been through the directions here a few times and I can't see where I've slipped up. Isn't the CPU % supposed to go down to what it would be, with only One effect instead of four (for my four guitar trax)? With the 4 identical reverbs on 4 guitar tracks the CPU % was at 15%, and it turned out the same when I did the Aux Bus. If I had only one reverb effect, the CPU% should have been down to 10-11% or so .
Anyplace I could've messed up the directions?
I have Cakewalk HS XL and Windows XP with 1 gb of RAM.
Thanks
