Autotune problem.

So I have this main vocal that I want to rearrange in terms of notes/melody with Autotune Evo by using a MIDI keyboard to trigger the notes, now problem is I cant do it because autotune is correcting the vocals automatically, so they overlay with what I'm trying to do. I tried to see if I could deactivate the automatic correction somehow, but there are only two choices I have which are 'automatic correction' or 'graphic correction'. What's the point of even having a MIDI trigger option if you cannot deactivate automatic correction ? am I missing something here ?

Some insight would be appreciated.

I would assume you choose graphic correction, then trigger that with MIDI.

If I remember correctly from the hardware unit, the midi triggering only changes the key that it is correcting to. That is used for live, so that it corrects the vocal to the right set of notes. Of course they could have updated the feature to do what you want it to do, but I've always just drawn it in graphical mode.
