I frequently use Trim/ Volume pre-fx to adjust the volume at various places along a given track. When I am satisfied with the adjustments, I render the track to save CPU capacity. When I render the track, the volume envelope track disappears. This seems quite normal.
However, today I used MUTE to remove a ringing FX tone on a vox track. [The Volume pre-fx approach did not work]. The MUTE approach did work. However, when I rendered the track, the envelope track did not disappear. Anyone know why this happened i.e why did the envelope track remained after rendering. Many thanks, Brian
