I can't do any automation, nor can I "bounce to disk", nor can I use the tools on the edit screen.

in the mixer window, scroll as far right as you possibly can, on the master buss there is a button on the bottom below the fader, that says bounce.
and for automation, you have to go into the view menu on the top, and then click on track automation
its at the very top of the view drop down menu..

BTW, how good is Emagic's Synth compared to Waldorf 's synth that's included with Cubase Sx? What about Emagics sampler; worth $300? Can I use other samplers or synths with emagic??
