Some tracks get short of some decimals, even if "locked in time" - especially when recorded from a mic.
The only compromise I found is to "stretch" the tracks, but it's very recognizable.
Somebody for a help?

I'm a bit confused about what exactly you mean...

Are you unable to get each track to start *exactly* at the beginning of your song? As if the guitarist (for example) waited a half second before starting to play but the rest of the tracks are fine?

Sorry for the confusion.
I sing and register on track 2 while the musical track 1 is in playback - everything is fine, appearently.
Recording ends and when I listen to the total result, voice track has "got shorten": it starts properly, but it accelerates a little bit more and more. Finally it ends few decimals of second before the musical track ends.
I've also tried to "stretch" it in editing, and it works, but the quality is really poor.
...and by the way it did not happen till a couple of months ago.
As last attempt, I've recorded voice with another application (i.e. Nero TrackWave), but when I've opened that saved .wav file into CEP, the phenomenon remains.
So it doesn't seems to be a "mic" issue, but of general sync or somewhat else...

I think I would try reinstalling CEP... That would reset all parameters... If that doesn't work, come back and we'll talk some more... Deal? :)

Go to Options/Settings and tick the boxes for "Correct for drift in Starting" and "Correct for drift in Recording" (or something similar). If you don't have a sound card that is wordclock synched to your input device you'll need to do this.

Thanks to all of you.
I've changed the settings: I'll let you know as soon as I work on it again.

It worked!!!

Yes, I confirm: it worked.
simply clicking the "thrifting" option all recordings go the right time as soon as you finish recording.
thank you again
