Audition and Tascam US428 Fader "latency"

I finally decided on usind Adobe Audition 1.5 for my DAW recording. I have no latency issues with recording; my problem is the faders of the Tascam. If I move more than one fader at a time the move very slowly and jump around.

I know this should be a buffer issue, but which one? There are about 10 different buffers in Audition.

I know USB will be slower the Firewire but I should still be able to move more than one fader at a time and have them stay sync'd.

I have a 2Ghz AMD64 on an ASUS board with 1Gig of RAM, so I don't believe I'm maxing out resources......and I'm using a USB 2.0 controller.

If anyone has any tips, it would be appreciated. Thankyou.

got the same prob , i have a bit of delay between tracks

I've red that to solve your latency you should have less buffer size , but should that be in the play back buffer or the recording buffer in Audition ?

If this is a visuals problem, is it possible that the trouble is a video card? Should you maybe think about updating the drivers for your viddy card?

I had some issues in n-Track, and updating the driver for my ATI Rage 128 seems to have taken care of it.
