This will make your Music better than a new SoundCard everwill!!

M-Audio have great driver support too, at the price of that card its amazing how close to Zero Latency you can get on a properly configured system!!!
If you are un-satisfied with your quality, perhaps its your recording process!!! Adding a Stereo Pre-Amp Compressor Limiter or something of the sort will help you get a some hot levels into your system!!!

The driver of the Digidesign stuff is very basic, you'll only get full support of the features using ASIO programs or the supplied Pro Tools LE.
Consider the M-audio Audiophile192. Top class convertors, balanced 1/4" jacks and very versatile drivers.

I'd get the MBOX just for the fact it'll allow me to use PTLE and I'll be able to advertise my studio as having Pro Tools.

I don't know the Audiophile.
The MBox has great Focusrite pre's and off course the great Pro Tools LE software, which makes you compatible with all the big studio's.
Is the Audiophile supplied with software?

No it isn´t. I am using it with Cubase sx. What do you guys think about Cubase v/s protools (only software speaking)?

M-audio's Maximum Audio Tools (!) bundle varies over time. Currently, there isn't much to tempt you apart from maybe the special versions of Ableton Live and Reason (cut down ones of course). At this time, the contents may have changed again.
I've a feeling Digidesign are the only hardware supplied with an application you might actually end up wanting to stay with, provided Pro-tools is what you want.
I suggested the AP192 because it's more or less a straight swap for (presumably) the original AP2496. Drivers are the same, you probably won't even need to do a reinstall if you put the new card in the same slot, and you can use both cards if you want - the driver you already have supports up to 4.
If you've already invested in good outboard pre-amps, the M-box's included ones will give you extra choice, but not be absolutely necessary. The new AP192's balanced i/o will make better use of your outboard pre's.
The original AP2496 is actually very good. You might want to consider the rest of your audio chain before replacing it.
Pre-amps, the monitoring and studio acoustics can have a far greater bearing on the accuracy and your perception of the audio quality.
