Audiowerk2 and MIDI

Rzzzzz!
Will an Emagic Audiowerk2 card get along with another sound card being used exclusively for MIDI in/out?

I'm considering buying an AW2, but I'm not going to if it can't coexist with another sound card.

Also will I have any trouble using this card with a software package of my choice?

For instance, if I wish to use PG Music's Powertracks Pro 8 with this card, will I have a hard time?

I used and AW8 with Logic for a good while and my stock midi port and they worked fine together.
You can get the old AW cards dirt cheap now, I would recommend an AW8 if you can find one. 2 in 8 out.
 
The AW2 is cheaper still and meets my minimum standards for what I want it to do (minus MIDI in/out)

My AW2 worked fine alongside an SB Live. You can download ASIO drivers for it, they were fine with my n-Track, presumably also for Powertrack. It's a very old card now though, I'm not planning to reinstall mine in my new machine.
