Okay, here's what I gathered/inferred from your post/sentence fragments: You have plugged your synthesizer outputs into the audiophile's audio inputs. You are not getting any direct sound because you have plugged your speakers into the audiophile audio outs. The computer is receiving the audio, but is not "direct monitoring" (spitting back out what is sent in). I'm not sure if cooledit has a setting for this or not, read the manual.

A way around this would be to use another output on the keyboard to monitor (a headphone out would work), or put the keyboard into a mixer which you could monitor from, and then put the mixer outs to the audiophile. You could also find out how to turn on direct monitoring (i don't use CEP or the audiophile USB so i'm not familiar with the options of either)

Hope that helps a little...read the manuals, and in your next post go for quality over quantity...("HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!HELP!

Go through the menu make sure you have record enable monitoring selected in CEP. Also check your device properties to see if the USB Audiophile is the soundcard selected for output. With the audiophile you can either go wave out digital (S/PDIF) or analog (headphone out or RCA) but not both.
