I hope someone can help me, I can`t seem to get my new 24/96 working with cakewalk .the computer says the card is ok,I`ve got my analog out going to my amp and speakers, I`m wondering if I`ve missed something with my cakewalk settings Any insight would be greatly appreciated Al

Are you using an MME driver? If you are, make sure you've got sounds in regular ol' Windows first (using this soundcard). If you do, then let us know what type of card, version of CW, is it the only card in the system, etc...

A couple of things to check:
(1) In the Control Panel, make sure that you have the 2496 selected in 'Sounds and Multimedia' for the preferred playback and recording device.
(2) On the Patchbay Router tab in the M-Audio Control, choose Monitor Mixer for H/W Out 1/2.
(3) In Cakewalk, make sure you have the Audiophile selected in the IN and the OUT for the tracks you want.
