Audiophile 2496

Hi, I am using the Audiophile 2496 and Cakewalk Pro Audio 9. Every time I record a new track, I get previous tracks recorded onto it- Others have told me to check "Line-In" on my Windows sound recorder, but I can't seem to even use WSR with my card- Can anyone help me? Is there something I can do, or am I doomed to a life of crappy audio?

with the Audiophile, you no longer use that Windows mixer......

make sure as your recording device youve chosen the Audiophiles line input (or s/pdif if you are using it) and not the Monitor Mixer.......

You need to check the audio configuration settings within cakewalk to set the audiophile as your input and output source.
