Audiophile 2496

Hello, I have an Audiophile 2496 which I have been using for about two years with windows me and xp. During that time I used the drivers that were on the audiophile cd. I recently upgraded my system to xp sp2 and now my computer won?t turn on. If I remove the soundcard the computer works ok. I also downloaded the latest driver but it won?t work. What should I do about this problem? Thanks?

Uninstall the card...make sure you get all of it
reboot and let windows find new hardware
reinstall drivers(the latest for your WINv)

I also had major problems when I installed SP2 on my system. M-Audio had a warning on there site not to install SP2 when it was first released. After I uninstalled SP2 my computer worked fine.
