I have to decide between these two cards. 99.00 each. What would be the recomendation? I use Cubase SX. I currently own a Edirol Ua 1A usb audio card.

get the audiophile as the quality is about the same but the drivers are way more stable.
if you really want the e-mu, then step it up $100 and get the 1212m for the nice converters.
if you really want the e-mu, then step it up $100 and get the 1212m for the nice converters.

Just remember what name is on the top of the Emu box... Creative - as in the bane of my life soundblaster (until I had the pleasure of smashing it!)
