Yo funky people,

I've got a problem with my system. I bought a DELL pc. Everything on it: 2.4 Ghz, 512 RAM, Fast HD, and a Audigy soundcard which Í will not use for recording. As a OS I have Windows XP home.
It is a bit strange but I can only record with the Audiophile when I use the Audigy for playback on the out source. So when I select only the Audiophile driver in Sonar and want to record with it I get a dropout and it will not let me to record.
On my old pc I had W2k running with my audiophile and a live card and I had never any problems.

Has somebody a solution for my problem here?

I suggest you look in Sonar options/audio and see which card is the record and playback timing masters. If you only want to use the Audiophile then select its multichannel 1&2 as the timing master. If you never want the Audigy in Sonar (apart from it's midi functions) then deselect it's drivers in Sonars Audio options too.
