hi,

I have an audiophile and POD Pro, and I am trying to hook them up by S/PDIF. Now, I have tried to use a rcv (?) video game cable, and Audiophile wasn't reading any S/PDIF signal coming in.
what did I do wrong? and Since POD pro only has one S/PDIF out, does that mean it's a mono track?

For one, you need to use a 75 ohm, digital cable.

Second, the sample rates have to be the same for both the POD and the 2496... so make sure the 2496 is expecting the signal you're sending in... you also have to enable digital I/O via the 2496 control panel (software).

Third, make sure you set the digital sync on the POD appropriately for your setup.

1) is this what you were talking about, Bruce? http://zzounds.com/love.music?p=p.HOSDRA503&z=1333741381364

2) So, I gotta set the Digital Sync on POD Pro to, say, 48khz, then S/PDIF sample rate the same in Audiophile's S/PDIF input, correct?
"you also have to enable digital I/O"...how? can you walk me thru this?

3) the digital sync switch, correct?

thanks, bruce
