For some reason, the right channel of the "H/W in S/PDIF" mixer input is maxed out to the red even with nothing conected to the card. If I record silence in Sound Forge, a slight buzz is picked up from this channel. I have reinstalled the card and the latest drivers, but nothing seems to help. I've contacted M-Audio but haven't recieved a reply, so if anyone has a suggestion, let me know. I've had the card for a year and have never had a problem with it - running Sound Forge on Windows XP. Here's a screenshot of the control panel:

Sounds like your card has gone south of the border.:(

Might be a bad connection on the circuit board.

I agree. Bad card. I hope it's still under warrenty.

I just tried recording a mix from my VS880ex using the digital input of the audiophile (which was basically what I used it for), and the signal was super loud, distorted, and full of hiss. Nothing I could do to lower it. The analog ins work fine though.

What do you have to do to get tech support from M-Audio? I've e-mailed them twice and have wasted over 45 minutes on hold. Again, if anyone has had a similar problem with the audiophile, let me know.
