Hello, was wondering if any of you have the Medal of Honor game installed in your studio PC? I have an Athlon 2200+ with 60g hd,512 2700ddr ram,G Force4 mx440se video card, Ausus A7V8X mother board. I tend to have probs playing this game on my studio pc, as a test I tried to play but 5 minutes into end of first mission it crashed at the reboot "red" bar and stated:

...wglMakeCurrent( NULL, NULL ): success
...deleting GL context: success
...releasing DC: success
...hiding window
...destroying window
...window successfully destroyed
...resetting display
...shutting down QGL
...unloading OpenGL DLL

..Was wondering if my sound card has anything to do with this? I have downloaded ALL updates needed for soundcard, video, modo, chip set, etc. HELP!!!!!

Thankyou! Peter

Sounds like a video card thing. You also updated your video card drivers? If it's a VIA chipset get the latest VIA 4in1 drivers.

I think that's an opengl issue. Try updating video drivers as recommended above. Also, get rid of any custom maps and mods and run the game bare bones to see if it works. Oh, and patch the game too if there is one.

Oh, and some opengl games don't get along with dual monitors. Disable your secondary monitor (if any) before starting the game.

I agree that it soundsl like a Open GL issue, it all but says so in the error message. Open GL, by the way, is another another software method for communicating with your video card, similar to Direct X.

And for the record, while I have not played Medal of Honor, I've played a bunch of Windows games on my 2496 equipped PC and have not had a problem yet. The oldest game I have tried is Starcraft, which was written for Direct X 5.
