audiophile 2496 and digi001

hi how you doing

i'm equiped with an m-audio audiophile 2496 soundcard,
a presonus bluetube preamp with cubase sx2.

i'm about to change for a digidesign digi001
with protools 6.4.

but protools allows only 32 audios tracks
and with cubse sx2 i can go up to 128 tracks
that most of the time are full loeaded.

i'm not quite sure...

what you think about that... 600$ canadien dollar about 475$ us

forget the 001 unless you really want the software.
and even if so....you can go with M-Powered Pro Tools.

i'd say go for an M-Audio hardware device with whatever inputs you need on it. use that with Cubase and if you want to later, upgrade to M-Powered Pro Tools.
