I'm using the newest model of imac, the one running leopard, with a motu 8pre as my interface. I'm only running 6 tracks at a time with maybe one effect and eq on each track and after about fifteen or twenty minutes, it makes a loud digital cracking noise and Audiodesk "quits unexpectedly". It's not like I'm running 20 or more tracks or using a ton of plug-ins, just really basic stuff. I have 1 gig of ram, which I would imagine to be enough. I know there must be plenty of reasons why this might be happening...anybody got any ideas?

Have you updated AudioDesk to 2.11 yet? Anything older than that isn't recommended on Leopard.

yep...those were about to be my words exactly :) I assume that fixed your problem?
