I have 2 keys connected to a Mackie mixer.
Direct outs from there go into the Delta 1010- which is connected to the computer.

Every now and then(mostly always) --when I have my computer on and connected to the system--I get audio whines and RFI noises....

how do i get rid of this? with the computer off--everything is dead slient. no hiss, no hum etc.

There has to be a way becuase a gazillion of u are using computers for this kinda work already.....help

I had a cheap powersupply (the computers) do that to me years ago using a Turtle Beach ISA soundcard. It would have this high frequency whine in all my recordings. After swapping out the powersupply all was fine.

If you do decide to do it, replace it with a decent quality one, enermax, young-year, powerman etc. Around $30 USD should do it.

This is a bit of a long shot, but if everything else fails, keep it in mind.
