A friend mentioned he has this mic. Anyone ever heard of it? Knowing my friend, it is probably an old piece of crap. Anyone got one? Does it need Phantom Power?

BTW, another quick question: my mixer has only one Phantom power button. What happens if I plug a non-phantom power mic in with Phantom power on? I assume it is a bad thing...

As far as I know, the AT Pro 25 is a decent mic. I've heard it's kind of budget version of the ATM25, but still, I have heard pretty good things about it. Depends what your application is. If your mixer has phantom power, and you are using a combination of phantom power and non mics, you shouldn't have any problems with the phantom being on. But, if all you are using in it are mics that don't need phantom, just turn it off.
