Hi there, new forum user here. :)

I just had a few questions. I was looking at 2 mics specifically, the Audio Technica ATR-2100 and then Audio Technica AT 2005.
I've been doing a bit of research here and there, looking at the specifications and what not, and I can't seem to tell the different between the two apart from price (2005 being slightly more expensive by maybe 30 dollars).

Secondly, I was looking for pop filters, and wondering, do I need a proper mic stand to utilise them?
I know both mics come with very very small, amateur (but not bad, just basic) tripod stand things, and I have my doubts a pop filter would screw onto one of those very well. If I do, are there any mic stands and pop filters that people suggest for these mics in particular?
If needed, a shock mount too, but I'm not too fussed on one of those as I am the pop filter.

Thank you. :)

Functionally, they're pretty much the same thing. The 2005 has a better (or at least different) switch and windscreen. The 2100 has a better warranty. Yes the included stand will hold a pop filter. I know a Nady MPF-7 will fit on it and it balances fine. I don't have any suggestions for a stand. That really depends on what you're using it for. I use a 2100 for recording YouTube voiceovers when I'm traveling, so usually I use the stand it came with.
