I have got a new problem

I have recorded a audio track in cakewalk9 on a track just below an existing audio track of the same type. In other words its a new recording but of the same tune as the track above

When I play back the two tracks they start playing at the same speed. the whole tune includung all midi tracks. then afetr about twelve or fifteen bars the new recording begin to speed up.

I then loaded another tune recordrd a track in the same way and then played it back with no problem

can any of the experts handle this one

the only thing I saw strange in the first recording in the first audio track output was set for my sound card left sterio output instead of "default sterio out" I corrected that but the problen is still there

HElllllllll.....p

Since I didn't know your system (sound card, PC and windows), I'm not sure what's your problem, but I've heard alot about latency & out of audio sync in Cake9. It cuold be :
1. The setting of your "next" track that doesn't fit the same as the first above... any guess, but recheck both track (bit depth, sampling rate, etc...).
2. Check your mixing latency on Options --> Audio setting. Move the slider left and right, and see what's going on.
3. You may need to update your sound card's driver. What's your sound card anyway ?
4. You say MIDI. Do you use SoundFonts / softsynth much ?
5. Your system may need upgrade. Memory, HD's speed, Processor, etc. What's your general spec anyway ?
:)
