Audio leakage, Overspill

Hi I'm new to the digital studio so i will explain in the best way i can. The problem I'm haveing is audio leakage, over spill. I record one track that spills out onto 2nd track I'm using N track studio and have recently acquired pro-tools 7.4, both are having the same problem and my sound card is the audiophile 2496 Help!!!

I use n-track and never have that problem.

Is there a mixer program with the audiophile card? If so - check this.

Also, check that you don't have plug-ins which cause the fault.
