Hmm I'm new here and currently using reason 5 for live performances with a yamaha USB midi keyboard. So far, I'm impressed with the software as it did not make any key lags regardless of the ASIO buffer size (256) well the latency varies between 10 to 30 when being set to low and high buffer size. What matters is that there are some cracklings here and there when Im playing fast with sustain on the midi keyboard. I'm still not sure if this is due to my sound card or my processor? Do I need to get a sound card for this? If so what type of sound card? Thanks guys
