I just got an imac 800 mghz with digital performer. It has firewire and usb.

I want to record my rhodes piano and acoustic guitar.

what do I need?

Do you want to record them at the same time or seperately and do you need mic pres? MOTU, M-Audio and Digidesign have USB and Firewire interfaces. Check them out.
