Hi all, actually I'm buying the equipment to make a mini home recording studio in my room.

The concept is easy:

I have a Marshall JMP1 preamplificator, a Lexicon MX200 multieffect, and I want to use them this way:

1. the marshall should go directly in the input of an audio interface and being recorded using cabinet impulses
2. the lexicon have to be connected to the audio interface using an spdif converter to be interfaced directly with the computer: lexicon provide VST plugins than can that way use the MX200 as an external processor.

The point is that I have to choose an audio interface that should have this 4 prerequisites:
1. a very good ADC converter,
2. spdif in/out,
3. low latency,
4. stable drivers.

Searching with google I found 4 alternatives:
1. Native Instrument Komplete Audio 6,
2. Focusrite Sapphire 6i6,
3. AKAI EIE Pro,
4. Lexicon Omega

The point is that all of them have more than I need, so I'm curious to know if anyone can suggest me, in the same price range (let's say around 250/350$) an audio interface more minimal but with better ADC converter (I don't care about the pre quality a lot cause I use the line out of the JMP1.

Does anyone can help me?

bye

Jacopo
