I'm planning to upgrade my audio interface finally with a good one.
At this moment I use two M-audio Delta1010lt PCI cards. But I'm not satisfied with it. Too much noise, it's Delta.
So I'm using mainly Protools M-Powered on a PC (quad) to record and to mix. For midi I use Cubase SX3, Reason 4 or Sonar 8.
That's why I'm stuck with M-audio, and because of the use of other programs I don't use Protools LE. I always mix out of the box, I'm using a Mackie 24-8-2 with ADAM P22A monitors.
Now I'm planning to buy the M-Audio Lightbridge in combination with a good interface.
I'm very interested in the SSL AlphaLink AX, but this one has 24 I/O and PT M-powered only supports 18 simultaneously I/O
. And this one is a little bit to much in my opinion, as I'm still mixing on a Mackie (tell me if I have it wrong).
So which interface do you guys recommend with a minimum of 16 or 18 analog outputs.
