I know another thread on this...
I have a the old M-Audio Audiophile 2496
I connected to the behringer mixer with pre amps
I connect my keyboard to the mixer and my mic to the mixer.
I use adobe audition 1.5
I could never get the midi to work so everything has been patches from the keyboard
Now I built me a new computer
(although I did not check the firewire on the motherboard and it turns out to be a VIA chipset so I'll have to hunt down a TI chipset if I go that route
Anyway, I got sonar 8.5 producer and adobe audition 3. So i'll bounce back between the two
Now I'm looking to upgrade the audio interface and would like to be able to run some patches as well..
I want to use the keyboard for it's onboard sounds as well as run MIDI patches.
I'll only be using L and right lines in for the keybaord 1/4 jack, a mic and the midi
Taking a hard look at
M-Audio ProFire 610 Firewire Recording Interface
MOTU UltraLite mk3 Firewire Audio Interface
Thanks for the help..
