Audigy + Line-in/out

Hello!

My first post, hehe ... anyways...

I've got a Audigy soundcard, and when I plug my amp (Carlsbro GLX40) in to line-in on the soundcard, I get nothing.

AMP (Line-out) --> Audigy (Line-in).

No sound, and I heavn't muted the Line-in and the sound is at max.
It works when I use "Send" on my amp, but that one is for an effect pedal and not for use like Line-out.

Anyone got a suggestion?

First,

You did not write what DAW you are using.

2nd, you state that it works when you send the signal from SEND, but not from the normal OUT, correct?

So... part of my ideas here might seem to be off the mark, but maybe not.

1) Use headphones and confirm that a signal is coming out of your amp OUT
2) Bring up the Sound card's mixer (or Windows Mixer), and make sure that the LINE IN port is "on" and that its volume level is set high enough. Usually double-clicking its icon in the System Tray near the clock.

My other ideas can only come into play if that does not work AND you write about your computer and DAW program.
