Audigy and Sonar

I have an Audigy Platinum (SoundBlaster) card and have discovered that it only records in 16 bit. I want to get another card that records in 24 for use only in recording/monitoring, not for for other applications. What is my best bet?

Just interested in everybody's opinion. I'm new at this so everything helps.

if you need midi, youll have to keep the Audigy or get a cheapy SB Live Value....
