I tried to post this with more content but I kept getting an error...

Attempting to record midi tracks with a Roland V-Kit and run it thru DKFH/EZDrummer

I'm about to try this for the first time today. Should I expect any sort of problems with this? Will the MIDI assignments from the V-Drums match (snare to snare, high-hat-open to high-hat-open), or will I need to transpose? If I do buzz-roll type things, will it be picked up by the MIDI? Will the velocity I convey be properly noted by the MIDI?

Using Cubase SX 3 to do the programming.

Thanks, all. :D

As long as you have your key maps correct. That's what they're called in BFD, anyway. Not sure about DFHS.

Cool. I'm actually really excited about this. I've been drumming for years and years, and will have 100% more feel and 100% less frustration doing this compared to hand-programming the MIDI.
