how do you set an attack or decay time with the behringer multicom mdx4400? if you cant- is there any way to simulate it with any of the other knobs??? please help nad dont bash me about behringer gear please...thanks

i've tweaked it but still it get pumping on my overheads. i have a threshold know (-40 - +20 db) a ratio knob, and output knob
(-20 - +20 db) and another threshold know that has
(o - +16 db)..........if anyone has had experience with this compressor or one like it please help the kid out

The problem with the MDX4400, is that it automaticly sets it own attack and
decay, and there is no manual adjustment for these. With some sound sources,
the auto tracking works fine and makes it easy to use, but most of the time it
sucks. I would return your unit, and get a Composer Pro, which is a much
better compressor.

Check out switches #5 and #6, p13 of the manual.

Good Luck,
