How do you attach a mp3 to a post so that others can listen to it and (of course) give me crap about how bad it is or even maybe a complement ?

You need to have the mp3 on a site somewhere - like on your own site or on a site like mp3.com or nowhereradio.com. You then link to it.
You can attach using the HR attach but it is limited to 102400 bytes file size.
