ATM Pro 25

Todd,

HyTechGear (hytechgear.com - 800-566-4901) was selling the AT PRo 25 for $36 each.
 
at that price I can get one for each tom as well. Do you reccomend a direct in/gate to use with a set of these? prferably with 5 channels.
 
Is there a difference the AT 25 and the ATM 25? If so, how big?

I never gate drums going to tape; I will gate them for mixing down, but never during tracking.

The ATM25 is a better mic for kick than the AT Pro 25, but the Pro 25 ain't bad.
 
Dude, that wasnt even right of you to do that... I thought for a second that someone actually DID have the ATM 25 for $70, which is a very good price. I'll tell you right now that the mic in that picture is not an ATM 25. Oh well...
 
I have a pro 25 for kick.

I really like it, but I have not work with the ATM.

look at the freq. response.
i like the one of the PRO 25.

it have the "click" i want in the kick for rock bands.

its a very good price, also including a clamp!!

I buy it at $120 like 1 year ago.

My bad. I was going off the link from the newsletter. I didnt even look at the pic/desc. I just saw 'ATM Pro 25 - $69'. Im strapped for cash, but I thought Id post the link fo others. If I did have cash, I probably would have noticed the discrepency.

uumm...looks like a Pro 25 to me? whats the problem?

69.99 isn't such an amazing deal....8thstreetmusic has it for that all the time.

AT Pro 25.

ATM25 is the better one...which is like 150ish
