At the end of my rope.... Cant find 703 or mineral wool in MN....

I think question I wanted to ask was would that duct liner stuff(it a compressed insulation) be usefull to controll reflections in the room?
Especialy if it can be layered.....

I have a roll of it that was free to me, I hate to see it go to waist.
