Asus Motherboard And Storage For Recording

i am bulding a new DAW on asus p4c800-e deluxe mobo. intel 3.2 ghz cpu(precott).ram 4gb.
i wants to use two different /seprate hard drive storage for recording(data) and oprating system(XP)/recording software.


if one storage is wd raptor 74gb X 2nos in raid0 on intel ICH5R controller than for best performance the "oprating system(XP)/recording software" should on---???? drive and on which port.please help me seclecting the hard drive for os/application software.
