assign sounds to midi seq's FL4.5 studio plz hlp

Hi all,

I am a midi newb. I have newly dl'd seq's that won't make any sound in FL. I want to assign sounds but don't know how. I have the soundcard output assigned correctly (Presonus Firebox) and can play what I write, I just cant assign sounds to these sequences I have downloaded.

Here's what I want to do: Edit seq's of pop songs to make them a bit better in order to accompany guit/vox live.

Could somebody point me the right way?

If you're talking about midi files, FL has an 'import midi files' feature found at File > Import > Midi Files. After you've loaded a .mid file FL has a dialog that offers you the option of loading all tracks or one at a time, selecting what midi channels to load and whether or not they should be alligned. As far as assigning sounds to the result, read the manual.
