I was over one of my band members house today for a social and to check out his new setup...On my recomendation (because I love mine) he got a C-Port and he also bought Cubase VST21 version 5 (I'm pretty sure)....Now the C-port was no problem installing, and Cubase didn't seem to be a problem exept when starting it up (installation was fine)...Problem was it asked for an asio check or something and then said it couldn't open the asio drivers and then said it again and then when the program finaly started yet another popup said that there wasn't enough memory for the audio engine(?)....Sorry 'bout the sketchy details, I should've wrote them down, but does this sound familliar to anyone?

BTW his computer is a P4, 2.something GHz, 256meg RAM....That's all I can remember....
Cheers!

I am not familiar with a C-port, but that computer should have more than enough oomph to run Cubase. If you can get more specifics it would really help people here to be able to help you.

Yeah, sorry 'bout that man...I'm abit vague at the best of times let alone three or four in the morning lol....I'm over there today again so I'll get more details....Cheers!

Ahhh....It's all cool......I went into OPRIONS then SUDIO SETUP then SYSTEM and selected the right shit there and all's well....DERRRRR.....Oh well, it's a learning curve....Makes your brain work better than crosswords I reckon...lol....Thanks!

It's all good...

Congrats on figuring it out, most would just not bother to try that hard. Happy recording!
