Well my daughter came up with a new melody and wrote some lyrics…so here’s our newest collab:

Just My Imagination! Straight from the mind of an 8th grader!

This is a Very Cool song and Well produced. She sure has a very mature sounding voice with Nice delevery. I think she will have a bright future in music if she sticks with it. I'll bet that these are some times that will stick in her memory forever. Enjoyed it .. mark

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Like Mark says the production is spot on. Very catchy tune. You must be bursting with pride. ??

Definitely proud of her talents, but more importantly her enthusiasm and love for life and creativity…

…and along those lines, I feel I need to let everyone know that I never tell her that I post her songs anywhere online. Posting is for me to get better and I feel I can take constructive criticism pretty well, especially because I value the opinions on this forum. I generally don’t think it’s healthy for kids to be worried about getting attention/praise OR criticism from strangers. It’s kind of the social media trap. So much healthier to do this for the love of music and creativity, and to enjoy the time together!
