man, i've been through quite a few. to name a couple, phyzical thoroughpy and jozey whales. once i get an entertainement lawyer to do a search for me i may be changing my name up once again, but i'll try to keep it as recognizeable as i can since i'm already making a name for myself with the one i'm using now

I have always had CHOP SHOP PRODUCTIONS as my production company name...

Raticus has evolved through out the years.....

Hmmm damn...I've been through a lot of changes but I'm straight with what I have now.

As far as an artist name...I started out with Cee Dubb, got bored with it. Then I went to Mista Rook (I'm still called Rook by close friends, so that's more of a nickname to me now, not an artist handle). Then there's Mastahmynd...until I ran into a local group with the same name (diff. spelling). After that I changed my name to Infimus. I still use that a lot in production now. But then Fieva hit me and it's stuck ever since. I like it, there's so many things I can do with it.

Hmm....now company names...sheesh. I started out with Dirty Bird Records (since I was still using the Mista Rook name then), but had too many people asking me if I was from ATL and saw too much chance for confusion so I dropped that. Then I had HHK Entertainment for the longest time, but I still have plans for that. That has crossover appeal so that'll be the parent company for my two companies now which are Heavyhitta Beats and Hammerback Records. But right before I chose Hammerback, I had Hitta Records. I did a search on it and found out that it was taken already (supposedly by one of the Luniz as an indie label...dunno if that is true or not and don't care really). Heavyhitta Beats came from the group I used to be a part of in the early 90's called Heavyhitta Klikk (we didn't do much but we all started doing our own shit). Hammerback Records came from a song I wrote.

I'm straight with my setups now.

To Be Honest I Dont Really Have One I Was Thinking About It The Other Day And Am Looking For A Production Name. You Guys Have Heard My Music So Maybe You Can Help Me Pick One. Any Suggestions?

i used to go by anonymous but then i switched it up to trademark...i bet it will change at least 20 more times before its all said and done....but playaz club productions was born before i even was.

Hmm, I've been through some changes since I first started dreaming of doing this way back when. I was just nick, gecho child, anonymous (along with probably 1000 other people at any given time) and I just stuck with Nick Springfield because it became my nickname for one reason or another. I noticed there was a famous music group in each decade since the 60's and not in the 2000's, so I figured I'd be the Springfield of 2k. I get tons of shit though with the Rick Springfield comparison, but that wasn't even on my mind when I did that... i didn't even know about him at the time.

Emochoi was a word I made up when I was real young and I kind of just attached it to everything I did from newsletters, graphic design, web pages and such so i carried it over to Emochoi Records and I'm confident no one else will ever use that name. It looks like ee-mo-choy but it's pronounced ee-mo-ko-way (rhymes with smoke away, which was another thought for a label name). I'm content, but no one around me is. That's kind of the way I like it. I rarely agree on anything with my close aquaintences.
