i thought it would be a battle between fyre change and trackz and that it would come down to the last vote but it looks like voting is dyin down and change is in the lead by 2 and trackz is way behind so it might be too late for trackz but fyre still got a chance, i personally had to go wit fyre cuz thas my man and his lyrics are insane

All the artist of the year noms have good music along with others on the board who weren't nominated. KTrakz probably put the most stuff on the board in 06 so yeah P. Rene the work ethic is respectable. Good to see you back on the board too Killah, Usually it's "new joint" (produced by so and so) and you bounce...lol

yea man, but thats my lil ppl's posting my music. When i get on i'll read and throw in my 2cts. then bonce so yeah my b ill try to co-operate more with the board and do more interaction, but now with soo much going on in my career and this stupid blackberry having the gayest browser and hard to read and shit. Please understand... I almost NEVER post my music online. If I do, it's usually throw-away tracks, or mixtape material. Once and awhile I post up a preview track for a project on myspace, but other than that... HR. hasn't even heard 25% of my material, and ya'll definitely haven't heard my best material. Believe that.

Do you intentionally not post 75% of your music?
And if so, I was just wondering, why?
I just want to make sure I don't do anything Stupid!
 
well why give the world your whole product? You want to give them a small taste of what you got, and have them buy the whole album to hear the rest. Unless your just making music just to make it, and not making a profit, don't post up your whole deal.

Mindset pretty much hit it on the head.

Why would I give away my music that I worked so hard to create? Mixtape stuff, tracks that aren't landing on albums, sure...

But if I'm paying roughly $5000 to $8000 to make an album, why on earth would I give that music away online? :confused:

I'm not saying give them your whole product, never said that!
But why share 25% of your music? I don't think that is enough to make people run out an buy anything from you. I've been burnt many times relying on a few cuts, to find that album was just okay. Let them hear some of your hottest sh*t and beg for more like a fein, especially if there if there is more where that came from. Here in HR, I don't think people are running out to buy your album in alarming numbers because they heard doses of your talent. I think dudes respect your game from what they hear and the consistency involved. As for me, I am here to share knowledge and gain knowledge. You best believe when my hooks start coming, ('cause I'm RnB), I'm posting all my bangers for people to peep. If y'all like it, then we can do something! Even if it's just copywritten snippets........LOL

I feel you though Change, but I think you might just be a little bit tight! IMO

You are not wrong, but we have two different approaches when it comes to that particular style of marketing.
