Has anyone checked out the article on Joe Meek in the February issue of Electronic Musician? It is incredible the things the guy did using only stereo and mono recorders.

Not only some good techie info, but some insight on his life, which was a disaster.

I think it focuses a little too much on his personal life(and death) and although it does a thorough job of going over the meat, they could have left the other stuff out. I did not need to know he was gay. Or that he commited a murder suicide.

AMEN! Although, if they didn't tell you these things about "artists" could we really understand and appreciate their "art!"
